Our First Chardonnay!

We bottled our first Chardonnay in mid-December, 2011. Dan is particularly fond of buttery Chardonnays, so we set out to create one of our own. We couldn’t be happier with the results!

2011 Zinfandel in the Barrel

Once the 2011 Zinfandel was harvested, sorted, and fermented, it was pressed and put in the barrel. Now we just have to be patient and wait until late 2012…

Fall 2011 Harvest

After a late spring and cool summer delayed the harvest, our 2011 grapes finally came in. We were on hand for the sorting and punch down.

CrushPad Relocates

CrushPad, the company that helps us make our wines, moved during 2011. Previously located off of Silverado Trail in Napa, CrushPad now shares space at the Sebastiani Winery just off Sonoma Square in Sonoma, CA. At the new location, CrushPad has substantially expanded its office, crush, fermentation, barrel aging, bottling, and finished wine storage space. CrushPad has its own tasting room and an interactive wine experience display is under construction. It’s a terrific facility in a great location.

Inaugural 2007 Wine Release

We held our inaugural wine launch event in April, ’10 to celebrate the launch of our Nuance Wines label and the release of our first vintage, a 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon from Oakville in the Napa Valley. It was a limited production and we were absolutely thrilled to sell out our entire 2007 vintage at the event!!!
