2010 Chardonnay

By rheinrich | December 30, 2011

We bottled our first Nuance Chardonnay in mid-December, 2011.  Dan is particularly fond Chards, so we decided to branch out and try a vintage.  Despite a cool summer and late harvest, the wine shaped up nicely, with excellent fruit and  balanced acidity. We decided to let the wine continue to age in oak for a … Continue reading 2010 Chardonnay

2011 Zinfandel in the Barrel

By rheinrich | December 30, 2011

Waiting is the hardest part.  We are anxious for our first Zinfandel.  After a moderately cool growing season, our grapes produced a substantial wine, typical of this Sonoma valley that is prime Zin territory. The Nuance 2011 Zinfandel has been harvested, sorted, fermented, and pressed.  Now that it’s in the barrel, we just have to … Continue reading 2011 Zinfandel in the Barrel

By Nicole Hanusek | July 12, 2010

Nuance’s 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon has been bottled.  From an organic vineyard off Zinfandel Lane in St. Helena, this is a special vintage. We were mesmerized watching the bottles get filled, corked, and labeled. The first bottles of our 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon going through the filling line.         Dan at the last stage of … Continue reading 2008 Cabernet Bottling

Inaugural 2007 Wine Release

By Nicole Hanusek | July 6, 2010

We held our first wine event for family and friends in April 2010 to celebrate the launch of the Nuance Wines label. The star of the show was our first vintage, a 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon from Oakville in the Napa Valley. It was a limited production and we were absolutely thrilled to sell out our entire … Continue reading Inaugural 2007 Wine Release
